Project 04

Our task was to design the General Mills office space within Minneapolis, MN. We were to create a brand identity for General Mills and create collaborative, individual, and private office spaces for the coworkers. We also had to create a custom design element, an epicenter where coworkers could collaborate, and a display case for walk-in appointments.

To start we were to create three key concept words and then specific ways under those headings that we would tackle these concepts in our design. Next, we would look at the existing project conditions and list our initial ideas of the building plan, and conceptualize. Then space standards for office spaces and how we could make the workspaces comfortable for individuals but also for coworkers/walk-ins to collaborate.
