Project 03

Campbell Residence

Residential Design - Revit - Photoshop - Research - Renderings

The Campbell Residence was a hypothetical residential design project. The Campbell residence is located in a suburban land near Crystal Lake, IL. This family in Illinois includes four residents, Thomas (father, 40 years old), Tina (mother, 38 years old), Elizabeth (Thomas' mother), and Bryan (son, 7 years old). While several trees swarm the place for their new home, many trees will stay to suit their design intent for an ecologically friendly design. With a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) design for Bryan's mild-medium level of ASD and Elizabeth's partial mobility, the design will have clean lines eliminating visual and physical clutter, keeping the design contemporary and minimalistic. As well as multiple private areas, a workspace for Thomas as he works at home, Bryan's multi-sensory environment, and a space for everyone just to relax and read. The kitchen will be accessible for everyone in the household including Elizabeth, who is often in a wheelchair and loves to cook. The countertops will have standard and lowered heights for kitchen workspace and storage space.
